Microsoft office has been giving support for the creation of Text documents, Spreadsheets, Databases, Electronic Presentations, etc.
The Office Suite works really good and there's nothing bad to say about its functionality. However, a new current of people has been developing since 2010 LibreOffice, a full suite of the same kind of products that offers exactly the same functionality with the so-important feature that dooesn't need any license to work with. This means IT'S FREE.
